September 6: Wow, has it really been a month since I last updated this place? I guess my update-a-week plan was a little too idealistic, eh? Actually, I've been making the transition back to college life the past few weeks, which is partly to blame for my lethargy in updating the site. Anyway, my hope is that this is lapse is the exception, not the rule. Now that I'm all settled in to life at school, the updates should be more frequent around these parts.

Speaking of updates, I've got a few for you. Now, if you follow the Ninja Turtles at all, you've probably seen/heard most of the following, but for those of you who haven't:

That's about it for now. Take it easy. See you in a month... just kidding! ;-)

August 9: Greetings once again, folks. It's been a week since my last update, so I just wanted to let you in on a project that I am currently working on. This project, which I am in the early stages of planning, is a fan-fic that details the final showdown between the Ninja Turtles and Shredder and Krang that takes place in Dimension X sometime after the finale of the cartoon series. This would be the first in a series of fan-fics detailing the post-cartoon conclusion exploits of the Turtles, which is but one of many long-term fan-fic projects I have brainstormed. I'm going to try my best to write a damn fine story, hopefully producing some nice artwork to accompany it. I'll pass along more information on this project as it becomes available.

August 2: Howdy, folks! I just had my wisdom teeth pulled today, but surprisingly I don't feel too bad (other than not being able to eat real food and the lingering effects of getting put under that make me look like I'm drunk whenever I walk). Anyway, being stuck in my house for a few days, I figured I may as well post an update to the site--a links page. I bet that makes you just want to jump for joy, right? Ha, I know, you probably could care less--especially since it only has a few links right now. Don't worry, though, for, just as this site is a work-in-progress, so to is the links page. Like wine, they will get better with time. Anyway, all kidding aside, if you have a site you'd like to recommend a site to me, please drop me a line at lordkrang@attbi.com.

July 31: Well, what have we here? That's right, Dimension X is back... well, sort of. Before I get to my plans for the site, let me explain who I am. My name--ok, my nickname--is Lord Krang, and this is my web site. It was originally launched in the fall of 1997 as Hafshell's TMNT Web Site (bonus points to anyone who actually visited it). That site, which was the launching pad for my new-found interests in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and web design, soon was renamed Dimension X, and I strove to make it the end-all source of information and content with regard to the TMNT cartoon. Well, about three years ago, I sort of lost interest and let the site decay. It even went off-line for several months at one point. Sensing I had shirked my responsibility as a webmaster, I tried valiantly to redesign the web site and keep all the content, but, alas, it wasn't meant to be. I simply didn't have the time or drive to maintain a fan site of the magnitude of Dimension X at the time, nor do I presently.

So, you ask, how come I am starting up Dimension X all over again? Well, to put it simply, I love the Ninja Turtles, and the new comic, TV show, and possibility of new movies, video games, and the original toon on DVD got me psyched up again. But, you ask, won't I just let it fall into ruins again, like I did before? Honestly, I know that I will never be able to devote as much time to the site as I had in the past, so I devised a plan which I hope to adhere to: I will update this site whenever I feel like it, but hopefully will not let it go any more than a few weeks at a time without updating it. There will also be more of a focus on quality over quantity, meaning I won't just cram everything into this web site just to cram everything into this web site. Gone will me a lot of content that had previously graced the hallowed pages of this site, including a lot of the pictures, all of the sound clips, and basically anything else that isn't worth the time it would take to add to the site. What I am hoping to publish a humorous and creative web site, with fan-fiction, art, news, product reviews (i.e. critiques of the new comics and TV shows, DVD reviews, etc...), and such.

So that's it. Please continue to check back with this web site periodically, as I hope to continue adding more and more material. Fee free at any time to contact me with questions, comments, or suggestions at my e-mail address, lordkrang@attbi.com. Oh, and, in case you're wondering, I do acknowledge that the design of this site is, at best, plain. That will change, as this page was thrown together over a course of ten minutes one tonight and I didn't feel like getting too stylish. Whenever I get around to redesigning the site, though, it will remain simple, which is what I want because it will greatly reduce the amount of work and time required to keep the site maintained.

Now that the introduction is all taken care of, I proudly present to you the first Dimension X update in quite some time: a sidebar from the September, 2002 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly (#158) about Cam Clarke, the voice of Leonardo (among others) in the original TMNT cartoon. Click here to view the scan. (Yeah, I know, it's a small update, but at least that's better than no update at all!)
